2020 has been an eventful year for everyone. We’ve all grown up in ways we never could have expected as the New Year approaches. Despite a tumultuous year, Kallen Media was there with you all the time. We successfully transitioned to working from home to continue creating content and strategies for small businesses during the pandemic. With the end of the year, we thought we would tell you all we have done! Welcome to Kallen Media’s year 2020 review!

There is a lot to say because this has been a huge year for our clients and for us. So we’ll have to break it down into sections:

  1. We will tell you all about the new services we have started to offer our customers.
  2. We will move on to the beautiful cities where we have developed.
  3. You will learn about some of our new partners and why we are delighted to continue working with them!

Instead of talking about what we have done for ourselves, let’s start by explaining how we have tried to help others.

Year in Review 2020: Non-Profit Marketing

Nonprofits have always been important to the team here. Since the beginning of the company, we have always served charities. But in 2020, we doubled this mission. This year, we not only continued to execute several nonprofit marketing plans, but we also expanded our national reach! Using services like Catchafire, we’ve been able to help dozens of organizations save thousands of dollars. This year, we were proud to grow and work with charities across the country.

Supporting the community is one of our main goals. Growing more into nonprofit marketing businesses means our people do impactful work that helps real people. But the non-profit sector is not the only place where we have expanded our activities.

Review of the year 2020: new markets

We have spent much of this year expanding into new markets. Kallen Media is growing and as a result we have started looking for new cities that fit our niche. This year we have started to expand into business centers like Birmingham and the Bay Area. These new markets have been incredibly productive for us, and we are excited to offer our services to new clients across the country. Expanding hasn’t been easy in 2020, but our fantastic team of marketing professionals shattered our goals.

Expansion was not easy, but it was worth it. We have been fortunate enough to work on both coasts, which has taught us a lot about tailoring marketing goals to specific niches. In 2021, we plan to continue our expansion program and offer our services to even more states. Even as we grow, we still know how essential our loyal customers are.

Year in review 2020: old friends

Of course, we are still dedicated to all of our existing customers. So we wanted to tell you about some of our favorite customer interactions from the past year. Before the lockdown, we had a comprehensive plan to visit businesses across America to collect marketing content. Even though it couldn’t have happened completely, we still have it. Kallen media was fortunate to expand into the Tucson market early in our tenure. And in early 2020, our owner took a trip to southern Arizona and met our clients himself.

The first destination of the Tucson tour was TRAK. TRAK is the therapeutic ranch for animals and kids that aims to provide people with the skills they need to thrive through animal therapy. Our CEO met some of the horses who work with advisors to teach people to be more confident and to prepare for life’s challenges. TRAK’s ranch environment, combined with innovative therapeutic practices, creates one of Tucson’s premier healthcare destinations. It was amazing to see the work they do firsthand.

The journey didn’t end there, anyway. Kallen Media also visited the Tucson Girls Choir. The TGC is a local Tucson organization dedicated to building children’s confidence and readiness through the art of song. At the Choir, our CEO was able to tour the facilities and meet some of the directors. Our trip to Tucson has been amazing and it is always nice to see the great work of our clients. Our customers know firsthand how dedicated we are, and that’s why our business is growing so fast!

Year in Review 2020: Arizona’s Growth

This year, we haven’t just grown out of state; we have also developed our home activities. The world of digital marketing in Arizona is hard to break into, but Kallen Media has done the hard work. One of our most notable new clients is Amadio Ranch in Laveen. Amadio sells the most delicious pies we’ve ever eaten and we’re happy to help them grow their digital presence. Amadio has fishing trucks with convenient stops throughout the valley if you’re looking to try some of the best fruit in town. It wouldn’t be a 2020 year in review if we didn’t mention the delicious products they provide.

We are also pleased to work with Habitat for Humanity. As we mentioned, one of our passions is supporting charities; And it is no more charitable than a habitat for humanity. The organization spends its time making sure everyone has a home, even those of us who can’t afford our own. We could not be happier to have Habitat for Humanity as a customer and we look forward to helping them in their mission. All of the new work we’re doing meant we needed to expand our staff as well.

Internship program

Despite the extenuating circumstances, 2020 has been one of our best years to date. We have been able to develop almost all parts of our business. These extensions even included our staff! 2020 was the first year that Kallen Media launched our internship program. We had the good fortune to work with five fantastic students who are studying digital marketing. We have been immeasurably impressed with the work of these individuals and are excited to follow their digital marketing careers as they grow.

We are also delighted to add permanent staff to our team. From blog writing to social media management, our activity grows every year. Our new hires have done everything from SEO management to web development. But our plans don’t end there; in 2021, we hope to grow even more. One of the areas where our new hires shone is our blog.

Our year in blogs

Everyone knows how important a blog can be for your website’s SEO. This year we have decided to focus on our blog and the results are visible. Thus, this year 2020 in review will highlight the impressive work of our teams. Our authors have covered a wide range of topics from neuroscience to comedy. Our blog is directly aimed at giving you an insight into the most current digital marketing topics. This year, we were able to offer you a blog every week.

This year we have reached over fifty blogs and we plan to do even more next year. In addition to blogging for ourselves, we have also expanded our blog writing services. Kallen Media knows how impactful scheduled and personalized blog posts are. So we focused on fundamental word analysis and other real metrics to improve blogging. By precisely studying SEO trends for blogging and analyzing market trends, we have developed a stable and extensible platform for corporate blogging. In 2020, we’ve written everything from basic content to corporate spotlight, and we plan to improve 2021 even further.

Web development

As a digital marketing agency, we understand how important a professional website is to a marketing business. And we decided it was time to update our site as well. Since we started, our developers have learned a lot about site optimization, and our page still reflects that. When working from home, we have a lot of content on our website to make quotes more comfortable, get easy help, and ultimately save you time.

The web development team also worked hard on our partners’ projects. We have been fortunate to work with people to design fast, personalized websites that can handle their traffic. With people stuck in their homes, many of our clients needed more support than ever to keep their websites up and running. But we rose to the challenge. Our web development team, like all of us at Kallen media, has had a difficult but rewarding year.

Year in review 2020

This year has been one of the most eventful and stressful years in recent history. But like all of you, the Kallen Media has managed to thrive under pressure. This year we have found new and unexpected ways to grow our business. Early in the year before the lockdown, we were fortunate enough to travel to Tucson and visit several businesses working in the area. Seeing companies like TRAK and the Tucson Girls Chorus was one of our highlights for 2020. Once the lockdown happened it changed things for us, but we still found ways to grow our activities.

Our year 2020 in review, we can only assume that 2021 will be accompanied by exciting and unexpected challenges, but we are ready to face them. Kallen media has both grown our own business and helped countless businesses with theirs this year.
